Arrival To School - Parents may drop off their children in front of the building or inside the building at the main foyer. 8:35 a.m. is the earliest that they can be dropped off.
Dismissal From School - Parents may wait outside the main doors for their children or utilize the moving vehicle line in front of the building. Do not park in the moving vehicle line. Buses load behind the building. No vehicles should be going around the back of our building until all buses are gone.
Absences - Call the school whenever your child is absent You may leave a voicemail. Absences must be followed by a dated note from home or a doctor's excuse.
Tardies- Please note the beginning of school is 9:00 a.m.. If your child is tardy you will need to come to the office and sign your child in. The building secretary will write a classroom pass for your child.
Visitors- All visitors must enter the building at the main entrance and sign-in. A badge will be issued and must be worn at all times. Visitors must sign-out at the end of their visit.
Early Pick-ups- Parents will need to come to the office and sign your child out of the building. The building secretary will call your child to the office.
Transportation Changes- Parents must send a note if your child has a change in transportation. If we do not have a note your child will follow what he/she does on a regular basis. We will not accept transportation changes after 3:00p.m. unless it is an emergency. Parent notes need to include the following information: child's first and last name, teachers name, bus number, date and parent signature.
Student Handbook- It is expected that parents read through the handbook. It explains academic expectations, bus expectations, and provides specific Bloom Carroll Board Policies that are relevant to you and your child.
Entrance to Classrooms - Students are expected to walk independently to their classroom.
Meetings with Teachers- You can schedule a meeting with your teacher by calling the school office or via email. Parent meetings cannot take place prior to the school day beginning. Parent-Teacher meeting nights are shown on the District School Calendar.
