Our high school and middle school Science Fair participants took center stage earlier this month, presenting their science fair projects to an esteemed audience of state dignitaries and community leaders. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to demonstrate their talent and dedication while providing insight into the process and purpose of the Science Fair.
A highlight of the day was the return of Maggie Loeffler, an accomplished engineer at Duke Energy, and a proud BC grad and former Science Fair participant. Her presence not only inspired our current participants but also served as a testament to the impact of our program in shaping bright futures.
We are deeply grateful to our local judges for their invaluable contribution in showcasing the benefits of this program, further highlighting the importance of nurturing young minds in the field of STEM.
